Nollywood Mourns again as an Icon exits the stage

The news of his demise filtered the air at the early hours of Saturday. Late Chief Bruno Obinna Iwuoha was a Nollywood Veteran Actor, an Icon and a role Model to millions of his fans and young Actors.

Bruno Iwuoha gave up the ghost at the National Hospital Abuja, at around 1:45am on Saturday, where he has been hospitalized for almost three weeks now.

The late Nollywood Veteran has been battling with diabetes for a while, though it did not debar him from making some debuts on movie screens. He was, however, held down by the ailment since late last year and has been receiving medical attention. His health deteriorated badly, three weeks ago, and was rushed to the National hospital Abuja where he received medical attention until the early hours of Saturday when he gave up the ghost. Sadly, some people insinuated that he wouldn’t have died if not for the ongoing industrial strike of Medical Doctors in Nigeria.

The National President of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Chief Emeka Rollas Ejezie, officially broke the news through the Director of Communications of AGN, Monalisa Chinda Coker. Below is the official publication from the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).

The details of the burial arrangements will be communicated in due course. May his gentle soul find peace in the Lord and may he enjoy blissful rest, amen.
