Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has condemned the alleged attacks on chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edu Local Government.
He urged security agencies to prosecute anyone involved in violence.
The governor described as unfortunate and politics taken too far the claim that his aides currently on assignments in Ilorin are the ones behind the unfortunate incidents at Gbugbu area of Edu Council.
“My administration has zero tolerance for violence. The development in Edu is unacceptable. Anyone found to have perpetrated the violence should be arrested and prosecuted. The governor sympathises with those who had their belongings damaged or sustained any form of injury. This is totally unacceptable,” a statement yesterday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, said.
